About

About zen and murder:

Zen and Murder (ZaM) born out of my need to shed my old internet skin (whatever the hell that means), and it’s a sort of reference to my sudden humor variations, the blog itself includes everything I’m interested in, and includes several loosely named sections.

Open source the world: it works in episodes that refer open source software for common desktop needs (browsers, media players, etc).

Game impressions: I’m an avid gamer, and I don’t like the concept of reviews, so I give my impressions on games I play, like when you talk to your friends about it, it’s a very free format of opinion giving, and very based on my views.

One image a day: this should be a daily section, but obviously, my tendency to procrastinate shows and it isn’t, this section shows images I keep finding on the internet, some are funny, some are awesome, some are fail… just like everything in life really. =)

Twitter updates: This is a auto section, once a day posts my twitter updates. Every blog post is linked in my twitter account also.

About me:

Once upon two times, a little dude was born, people decided they should name him David, he cried and yelled very loud and was pretty vocal about the all affair, but no one understood him… actually, not even him understood himself (myself).

Fast-forward to a few years later, and the kid was a little bigger (but not much) and he was living in a castle, he didn’t knew better, so he thought he was some sort of prince. In that castle he found many interesting things from older ages, and monsters carved in stone that talked to him, those monsters shaped his soul a bit. There they stood, eternal in their places, apparently above all the tiny humans that gazed at them, sheep like, day after day, week after week.

The little boy grew free for a while, semi feral and happy, the castle and the surrounding forest his home, he was tuned to it  and howled in pain at every summer invasion by tourists of his beloved land.

The little boy commanded nothing, his wills where never something other people considered apparently, and he was thorn from his beloved castle and forest, taken away to live in a proper city.

The little boy grew and adapted, but the forest’s eternal whisper never gone away. That little boy was me.

I’m a Portuguese dude of 25 (atm) and I’m no one special, just a little snowflake, like everyone else. I like to write, code, music (listening and pretending I know how to write it), waste time in the Internet and do the normal stuffs that are expected from a dude my age living where I live and doing what I do.

I have a couple of cats that love to ruin my place and let their fur in my clothes.

I hate to wake early and hate my job (as so many people that I know).

I’m sarcastic, and like to act like a smart ass, but I’m pretty friendly if approached the right way.

Here, have a mugshot.
